Meeting with the Speaker of the Senate, the Honourable Noel Kinsella

Tuesday February 3rd, 2009, Ambassador Khaled Bahah was delighted to meet with one of Canada’s greatest statesmen, the Honourable Noel Kinsella, who has consistently demonstrated his friendship to Yemen by both words and action.

The two men discussed several on-going Canada-Yemen projects supported by the Senator, such as the establishment of a Canadian Embassy in Yemen and Canadian training for Yemenis in a variety of fields.

The Speaker, who has been a popular visitor to Yemen was also interested in the discussion of Yemen’s great progress along the road to democracy and the future selection process.
