His Excellency Remarks

Your Excellency,

It is for me a great honour to represent my country, the Republic of Yemen, as Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary to your illustrious Government.

This honour is even more profound when it is presided over by a person as distinguished as yourself, whose work in benefit of your people is so highly renowned and appreciated in this region and around the world.

Mr. President, His Excellency Ali Abdullah Saleh, has particularly trusted me with conveying to you his deepest respects of affection and friendship, in the hopes that one day you will honour us by visiting our country, where you will be received with expressions of the great admiration and friendship that my fellow citizens have for you and this wonderful country of Canada.

You may depend on me, Your Excellency, to be diligent and loyal servant in the tasks of deepening the bonds of cooperation and understanding that happily exists between our two peoples and Governments.

These are the Letter of Credence that I am honoured to place in your hands.
