Arab Day

On Tuesday, June 1st, 2010, The Embassy of the Republic of Yemen in collaboration with the Council of Arab Ambassadors joined together to celebrate Arab Day.

The event was well attended and VIP guests included the Speaker of the House of Commons, the Honorable Peter Milliken, the Speaker of the Senate, the Honourable Noel Kinsella, and the Minister of Immigration and Multiculturalism, the Honourable Jason Kenny as well as many other Canadian Officials.

At the Yemen Pavilion, the Embassy displayed some Yemeni art and artifacts as well as Yemeni coffee and food, reflecting Yemeni culture, heritage and life.
