YEMENI TAWAKKUL KARMAN SHARES 2011 NOBEL PEACE PRIZE

Hearty congratulations are in order for the, 32-year-old Yemeni and mother of three who shares the great honour of the Nobel Peace prize for 2011. The co-recipients include the two outstanding women, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Leymah Gbowee.

Together they have been recognized by the Award Committee , “…for their non-violent struggle for the safety of women and for women’s rights to full participation in the peace-building work.”

The winning of this prestigious award is a great honour for global peace and the recognition of the strength of women all over the world.
